Wave Week Moldova 2011 is a program affiliated with Spark the Wave USA organized in the cooperation with the Creative Development Association.

Spark the Wave is a non-profit educational organization (NGO) registered in the USA. Its mission is to empower youth through educational programs to be great community leaders and volunteers. We believe that teens CAN and DO make a difference! Spark the Wave is not affiliated with any religious or political group. It promotes diversity and cross-cultural friendship and understanding. The Creative Development Association is a non-profit organization registered in the Republic of Moldova and the legal successor of the board and community of alumni of the US Government sponsored exchange programs. The Creative Development Association is active in implementing programs and projects that contribute to the development of the Republic of Moldova. The main objectives of the organization are to develop a sustainable framework in implementing concepts, experience and knowledge gained by its members during their participation in various exchange programs in the USA and to promote academic, social, economic, and cultural activities in the Republic of Moldova. The LOCAL STAFF is comprised of dedicated youth with wide experience in project organization and attendance. Members of the staff have participated at Wave Week in the USA, as well as other leadership camps, conferences, and international trainings in Moldova, Ukraine, Poland, Belgium, Bulgaria, Romania, and USA. Some of the local staff have been involved with Wave Week Moldova since its first edition in Moldova.
